Staffing solutions for assisted living and residential care providers
Genesys supplies qualified independent contractors when your schedule has a gap, for one shift or on a standing basis.
Request staffingHow providers use Genesys
- Primary supplemental staffing resource
- Your first call when your own team cannot cover the schedule.
- Backup staffing agency
- A second source for the shifts your primary agency cannot fill.
- Short-notice coverage
- Call-outs and same-day gaps, including evenings, overnights and weekends.
- Temporary staffing
- Cover a vacancy or a leave while you hire or wait for someone to return.
- Recurring staffing
- The same shifts each week, staffed on a standing schedule.
How a contractor comes to be offered your shift
Nobody is sent to your program on trust alone. These five checks sit between an application and a shift at your door.
Step 1
Application and review
Every contractor applies with their roles, experience, availability and the areas they work in. Genesys reviews each application before anyone is invited further.
Step 2
Documents checked by a person
Certificates are uploaded and checked by Genesys staff, against the issuing registry where there is one. Nothing a contractor uploads is accepted automatically.
Step 3
Expiry dates tracked
Each credential carries its expiry date. Contractors are reminded before it lapses, and once it expires they are not offered shifts that need it until a renewal is verified.
Step 4
Cleared for your program
Your requirements are recorded for your organization and for each location: credentials, background check, orientation and anything else you ask for. Where you require it, a contractor must be cleared for your program before being offered your shifts.
Step 5
Checked again for every shift
Before a shift is offered, the system confirms the contractor holds the role, has every required credential valid on the day of the shift, is available, and is not already booked.
